The Fokker 50 is a turboprop airliner, successor to the Fokker F27. Built by Dutch manufacturer Fokker, it flew first in 1985. Designed for efficiency, it has improved engines offering 30% less fuel consumption than its predecessor. While production ended, close to 30 operators around the world still use them for passenger or cargo transport, including special missions for governments.These versatile aircraft can seat 50 passengers or carry 7 tons of cargo.
