The Fokker 100 is a twin-engine turbofan regional jet built by Fokker in the Netherlands. Introduced in 1988, it was based on the successful Fokker F28 but stretched to seat up to 109 passengers. Compared to the F28, it boasted a wider wing, updated engines, and a modern glass cockpit for improved performance and efficiency..While production ended in 1997, around 280 Fokker 100s were built and some are still in service today praised for their good passenger comfort, low noise levels, and operating on shorter routes.
