In a thrilling fight on March 30th, 2024, Sebastian "The Towering Inferno" Fundora upset the previously undefeated Tim Tszyu. Fundora won a close split decision (116-112, 115-113, 112-116) to capture the WBC and WBO 154-pound titles. Tszyu started strong but a nasty cut from an accidental elbow in round two hampered him. Despite throwing fewer punches, Tszyu landed more accurately. However, Fundora's relentless pressure and higher punch output swayed two judges.
