Royal Australian Air Force Dassault Falcon 900 Information
The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) previously operated two Dassault Falcon 900 business jets, designated A26-073 and A26-074. Acquired in 1989, these aircraft served for VIP transport, carrying the Prime Minister, Governor-General, and other high-ranking officials. No. 34 Squadron RAAF, based at RAAF Base Fairbairn in Canberra, managed the Falcons. The jets frequently flew between Canberra and other Australian capitals, along with overseas destinations. In 2002, the RAAF announced plans to replace the Falcons with two newer Boeing BBJ 737 aircraft.
