Delta Air Lines Mcdonnell Douglas Md-88: Delta was the biggest operator of the MD-88, a narrow-body jet airliner known for its wider aisles. They flew over 120 MD-88s, nicknamed "Mad Dogs", for decades before retiring them in June 2020. These planes, known for their EFIS cockpits and windshear warning systems, could seat between 123 and 155 passengers and cruised at up to 543 mph. The MD-88 was the last variant of the MD-80 line and was very similar to the MD-82 and MD-83.
