Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City used to have MH-65D Dolphin helicopters for search and rescue missions. These twin-engine helicopters carried a crew of four for tasks like hoisting people from the water, medical evacuations, and delivering supplies to distressed vessels. In 2020, the station began upgrading to the MH-65E model, featuring improved avionics and a digital cockpit for better navigation and awareness.
